This platform was created by pediatric oncology clinicians to help improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) communication between adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology patients and their providers.

What is ReSPECT?

ReSPECT is an interactive, digital platform that integrates:

  • An AYA-centered pre-visit questionnaire (PVQ) that discretely alerts clinicians to relevant SRH questions/concerns
  • Targeted patient education based on PVQ selections
  • Clinician-centered guidance for addressing specific SRH questions/concerns

Why talk about sexual and reproductive health?

AYA patients with cancer and survivors are at increased risk for short- and long-term SRH-related complications from cancer and cancer treatment.
